ASCLS is seeking three at-large members to join eight ex-officio representatives on a newly formed Marketing and Communications committee. At least one of these at-large members must be an ascending professional member.
The Marketing and Communications Committee will be charged with:
- Identifying internal and external trends that should be strategically addressed by ASCLS through marketing and communication
- Coordination of all ASCLS publications and messaging platforms to demonstrate the value of ASCLS to all key stakeholders.
- Assisting with the development of marketing and communication strategy and plans.
- Enhancing the Society’s ability to effectively leverage professional networks and integrate marketing and communication across all platforms
- Equipping all members with tools to promote ASCLS and the profession
- Building the ASCLS brand around the value of the organization and the profession
In order to stagger terms, the three at-large members will be assigned initial term length (1 year, 2 year or 3 year) by a random drawing.
