The ASCLS Board of Directors recently approved the formation of the Position Paper Task Force. The purpose of this task force is to review and update ASCLS Position Papers to ensure they are current and relevant for our members. Position papers are approved by the House of Delegates under its authority for "approval of professional practice standards and scope and direction for the Society and the profession...."

The task force will make recommendations to the board of directors to affirm, change, or rescind existing position papers. Those recommendations will eventually reach the House of Delegates.
Commitment to serve on this task force will require attendance on a regularly scheduled conference call and a few hours of homework in between the calls. Your involvement is required on regular basis to ensure the task force goals and strategies can be accomplished. The task force will complete its work prior to the 2020 House of Delegates in Louisville, Kentucky.
