The American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science - Nebraska (ASCLS-NE) is pleased to announce that applications are being accepted for the ASCLS-NE Scholarships. Two scholarships will be awarded. Winners will receive $500 each and a free membership to ASCLS for one year. Scholarship winners will be announced during a student event that will take place during Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (April 14 - 20, 2024).
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- The applicant must be enrolled in a NAACLS accredited MLT or MLS program in Nebraska.
- The applicant must be a member of ASCLS.
- The applicant must demonstrate scholastic achievement by presenting a program GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Complete the ASCLS-NE Scholarship Application (including the essay on page 2).
- Provide documentation of your scholastic achievement. The program director from your school can send this directly to andrea.jones@nmhs.org
- Obtain a letter of recommendation from a faculty member or program official at your school evaluating your professional characteristics such as leadership skills, community service, work experience, etc. The faculty member or program official must send the letter of recommendation directly to andrea.jones@nmhs.org
- Send the completed application to andrea.jones@nmhs.org
