Volunteer Opportunity Details

Responsible for recruiting new members into ASCLS. Responsible for the retention of members and reactivation of lapsed members. Members chosen from each ASCLS Region and approved by the ASCLS BOD. In addition to the general charges for all ASCLS committees, the Membership Committee is charged with:

• Develop a process to mentor state membership representatives.
• Collaborate with States and Regions to develop a new-member on-boarding process, including process for how states are notified of new members.
• Investigate the feasibility of creating a phlebotomy membership category.
