Councilors-At-Large assist the DAC officers to fulfill the charges of the DAC. 

The DAC Executive Committee meets monthly for a one hour Zoom meeting.

1.      Appointments and Term

a.      Councilor: Three (3) Councilors will be appointed annually for a two (2) year term. Councilors may serve up to two consecutive terms.

                                                    i.     Councilors will be solicited from within the DAC Membership. Appointments will be recommended by the DAC Executive Committee and approved by the ASCLS Board of Directors.

                                                   ii.     Councilors will be recommended based on professional qualifications while ensuring the broadest possible representation of diverse perspectives, including but not limited to sexual orientation, gender expression, race, ethnicity, national origin, disability, and geography. If a vacancy in the position of Councilor, the Executive Committee will recommend a qualified replacement to be approved by the ASCLS BOD.
