Develops and implements the curriculum and activities for an intensive year-long experience in leadership issues facing rising leaders within ASCLS.

2016-2017 Committee Charges

• Publicize the application process for the next year’s Academy class using ASCLS Today, ASCLS Website, social media, and all ASCLS mailing lists. (Communication)
• Work with the Leadership Academy faculty and Board Liaison to review the implementation of the projects from the previous year’s Academy, suggest appropriate changes for future years in content resource requirements for the Academy and report to the ASCLS Board of Directors on status of implementation of projects. (Internal Communication)
• Obtain feedback from the constituent societies or regions which adopted the curriculum for a constituent society or regional leadership academy and make changes in the curriculum or ideas for projects as necessary. (Internal Communication)
• Develop a resource list of all projects developed by the Leadership Academy, and include it on the ASCLS website. (Internal Communication)
• Communicate and collaborate with the Leadership Development Committee to ensure that activities and projects support the overall development process within the society. (Communication)
