About

About the DAC

The Diversity Advocacy Council is a group within ASCLS that works to advocate for the advancement of the ASCLS definition of diversity. To promote inclusivity, communication, and cooperation among Medical Laboratory Professionals, and to promote and encourage a social and fraternal atmosphere for members. We try to build spaces where trust and understanding can flourish within our organization. Our dedicated and talented volunteer leadership is always looking at opportunities to advocate for inclusivity and equity for all laboratory professionals. We strive to provide a space for members of the ASCLS community to increase their understanding and leadership on DEIB through thoughtful discussion, honest curiosity, and an authentic desire for growth. We hope each member of this community will step into this space to be uncomfortable, be introspective, and serve others as a resource for accountability, healing and reconciliation.
